BHEL has won a turnkey contract for setting up energy efficient and environment-friendly 376 MW captive power plant at the upcoming Paradip Refinery Project of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) in Orissa..

BHEL’s scope of work in the Rs 3,348-crore project envisages design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of the captive power plant, in addition to associated civil works, it further said.

The equiment for the project will be supplied by BHEL’s plants in Hyderabad, Trichy, Ranipet, Bhopal, Jhansi and Electronics Division, Bangalore.
