All the viewers of the Sony Entertainment Television channel will now be able to view their shows in high definition from May 28, 2012 onwards. The latest move has been taken so as to keep in pace with the latest technology which gives the viewers an enhanced viewing experience.
The new HD feed will be available for analog as well as digital distributors. The technology will be available on Airtel, Tata Sky, Dish TV, Videocon and covers almost all of the current HD universe. The new technology will also be available on Hathway, Seven Star and other important networks.
The COO, of Multi screen Media Pvt Ltd, NP Singh said, “I am pleased to announce that our flagship channel Sony is all set to be broadcast in HD. Even Sneha Rajani the Senior executive vice president and business head of Sony Entertainment TV said that the channel has always been a pioneer in its content and has offered the TV audience at large. Rajani added that going HD is a continuation of that focus and a very proud moment for all.
