Asia Bizz: Indian auto giant Bajaj Auto has launched a new version of its sports bike Pulsar, naked sport or NS. Bajaj has launched the 200 cc model of the bike in the city of Pune in the state of Maharashtra and has been priced at Rs. 84,096.

The new bike will be available in the other cities of Maharashtra in the upcoming weeks and within the month starting from Pune and Mumbai. The bike will be made available in rest of the country from the month of August.

K Srivinas, the president of two wheelers Bajaj Auto said, “We have started dispatches to Mumbai and Pune,” Mr Srinivas said. “We have close to 150 bookings in Mumbai and 60 in Pune. We will open up in Kolhapur, Solapur and Nashik this month. From August, it will be available nationally”. The state of Maharashtra is considered as the largest producer of sports bike and contributes 27% of the motorcycle industry.

The new Pulsar 200 NS s a central mono suspension and disk brakes or both the wheels for both the wheels and three spark plugs for the engine. Till now 5,50,000 Pulsars have been sold it the state and are the leaders in the segment.
