Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) on July 5, 2012 said that it is all set to expand its network and will open 500 dealers and sub dealers in tier II and tier III cities. The company is now eyeing 30 percent growth in sales in the current fiscal.
The vice president of the company Y S Guleria said, “We will be adding 500 new dealers, sub-dealers in current fiscal which will take our network’s total strength of 2,000. The main focus will be on expanding base in tier-II and tier-III cities”. The company has a 14 percent market share in the country and has a target to sell 27.5 lakh bikes and scooters in the current fiscal.
