Indian mobile Karbonn Mobiles has on July 6, 2012 announced the launched three sub ₹10,000 Android smartphones the A9, A7 and A5 for the Indian market. The three phones are dual SIM Android Gingerbread based devices.
Out of the three phones the Karbonn A5 has been priced the lowest at ₹ 5790, while the A7 and A9 has been priced at ₹7490 and ₹9490 respectively. The three phones and the and a tablet Karbonn Smart Tab 1 are the first from the ‘Karbonn Smart range of devices. Some of the specifications of the A9 smartphone include 1GHZ processor, 5 mega pixel camera and 9.7 cms capacitive multi touch screen.
