Indian telecom operator Aircel is now gearing up to launch 4G services in India. The operator holds spectrum licence for eight circles and will begin rolling out 4G services between the months October and December this year.
Reports say that the company will be spending roughly Rs. 2,757 crores to set up the network. Aircel has in recent times slashed its 3G prices and has the spectrum license for Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Odisha and North East. At present the company is offering 3G services in 13 circles including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar. Bharti Airtel was the first in India to introduce 4G services.
