Veteran actor Rajesh Khanna has been discharged on July 16, 2012 from the Lilavati Hospital after being hospitalized for undisclosed illness. Close family friends revealed that the actor is doing fine now.
The actor was discharged in the afternoon and was accompanied by his family members. The actor was admitted to the hospital on June 23 and spent two weeks before he was discharged.
The actor had reportedly complained of weakness after which he was admitted. Khanna has been battling with health issues since the month of April and was constantly supported by his family members including his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia.
Earlier when the reports of Khanna of not being well came out, the actor’s son-in-law Akshay Kumar clarified that the actor was doing absolutely fine. Khanna had even came out of his bungalow and waved out for his fans while he was accompanied by his wife and son-in-law. Khanna’s daughter Twinkle is now pregnant with her second child with husband Akshay. Rajesh was fondly known as ‘Kaka’ in the industry among his friends and fans. In recent times the actor even appeared in a commercial. Khanna and Dimple got married in the year 1973 but got separated in the year 1984.
