In a blow to the protesting Yoga guru Ramdev Baba, a team of Delhi Police has on August 14, 2012 reached the Ambedkar Stadium and has appealed to vacate the place. The police has appealed Ramdev and his protestors to vacate the place due to security arrangements ahead of the independence day.
ACP Devesh Srivastava told the gathering, “Buses have been arranged for you”. On the other hand the Union Home Secretary RK Singh said that Ramdev will have to leave the Ambedkar Stadium and that there is no question of his staying on. Ramdev on August 14, 2012 said that he will end his fast before noon and will launch a bigger movement against the Congress.
