As the festive season fast approaches, Indian auto giant Maruti Suzuki have decided to resume partial production at the violence hit Manesar plant by August 21, 2012. The plant at Manesar was shut down after a major violence hit due to some issues between the workers.
Sources familiar with the matter have revealed that almost all the assessments have been completed and partial resumption of the Manesar plant is likely next week. As Monday is a holiday, the work is expected to begin on Tuesday. The labour issue still remains a factor and the initial work is expected to begin in the automated divisions of the plant.
