Indian smartphone manufacturing giant, Micromax is all set to launch three of its Android smartphones on August 17, 2012. Micromax will be launching A84, A90 and A100. In the last few days, all the three devices have been spotted on some or other place in the last few days.
The A84 was almost officially confirmed but the actual launch will be done on Friday, 2012. The A84 will feature a 1 Ghz processor and will run on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread with 5 mega pixel camera and LED flash. The device will also have a 4 inch WVGA screen and will be equipped with a powerful 1630 mAh battery.
The connectivity features of the phone will include 2.1 Bluetooth, GPS, Wi Fi and 3G. The A84 has been tentatively priced at Rs. 9,999. The A90 has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen and runs on Android 4.0 with 1 Ghz processor. 8 mega pixel camera with flash, 0.3 front facing camera, 3.5 mm audio jack, 1600 mAh battery and 3G, Bluetooth, Wi Fi and FM radio facilities are among the other features and has been priced at Rs 12,999.
While the A 100 has a 2,000 mAh battery, 5 inch WVGA display, 5 mega pixel camera, 4 GB internal memory and has been tentatively priced at Rs. 9,999.
