Japanese Auto giant Honda Motor Co has begun the lease sales of the Fit EV on August 31, 2012 for the local governments and businesses in Japan. The Fit EV pursues the potential of the electric vehicles and origins back to the EV Plus which was introduced in the year 1997 for lease sales.
Honda for its new electric vehicle has applied the latest technologies and ideas which are cultivated through research and development of electric mobility products. The Fit EV was developed as an electric car which was fun to drive but still could be used smartly. The company plans to lease 200 units of the Fit EV in the next two years.
