Indian auto giant Maruti Suzuki has launched the new version of the Ritz diesel starting at Rs. 5.31 lakh ex showroom price Delhi on September 3, 2012. The company has claimed that the new Ritz diesel offers higher fuel efficiency at Rs. 23.2 kilometers per litre.
The earlier model of the vehicle had touches the sales figure of 2 ,00,000 units in three years. Reports have said that the new model comes with 52 new changes which include a new front design electrically adjustable rear view mirrors, multi information display on instrument panel, dual tone interiors, body side moulding and audio system with USB.
The new diesel Ritz will be available in mystique red, granite grey and breeze blue colours. Maruti Suzuki has also introduced the top variants of the Ritz diesel ZDi variant at Rs. 6.23 lakh. Manohar Bhatt the vice president of marketing at Maruti Suzuki said, “Numerous changes being introduced now will make the Ritz brand more vibrant. Most important, the new Ritz is more fuel-efficient with enhanced driving comfort. This makes it even more attractive for the customer and also gives us confidence to generate additional sales.”
The top end models will have features like allow wheels, dual front air bags and steering audio controls. The new Ritz has got an engine which uses reduced friction and calibration optimization.
