After 11 years of trial, the door finally closes for the Jessica Lall murder case convicted Manu Sharma. Manu Sharma, the son of a wealthy politician, is currently serving a life sentence in Tihar jail. Sabrina Lall, Jessica’s sister, expressed her happiness after the supreme court of India upheld the verdict of the high court.
Sabrina was fighting for sister and expressed her triumph after the courts verdict. Sabrina also criticized those witnesses who turned hostile and said that they too should be punished.
Manu Sharma had challenged his life sentence and conviction stated by the Delhi court.
Jessica Lall was a New Delhi model who was working as a celebrity barmaid at a socialite party in 1999, when she was shot dead . Most of witnesses named Siddharth Vashisht a.k.a. Manu Sharma, the son of Venod Sharma, a Congress politician in Haryana, as the murderer.
