South Korean giant Samsung has on September 27, 2012 launched its Galaxy Note II Phablet in the Indian market. The device has been rolled out in the Indian market just a day after it as released in South Korea and before its release in UK.
The new Galaxy Note 2 is bigger than the Note’s 5.3 inch and now measures 5.5 inches and has been priced at Rs. 39,990. The device comes with a Super AMOLED HD display with a 1280 X 720 pixel resolution and a 1.6 GHz quad core Exynos processor with 2 GB RAM.
The Galaxy Note 2 offers storage space of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB and micro SD and Micro SDHC capability for the cards up to 32 GB and 64 GB respectively. The new Note 2 runs on the latest version of Android operating system Jelly Bean 4.1 and comes with Samsung’s S-Pen stylus optimized TouchWiz interface.
The new Note 2 is similar in terms of design to the existing Note but in terms of features it is similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S III’s signature style and also Note 10.1. The device also has a 3100 mAh battery and delivers up to 16 hours of talk time.
