Birla Power Solution LTD (BSPL) under the jawaharlal Nehru National Solar mission, plans to deploy 20,000 MW of solar power by the year 2022.
BSPL will invest Rs 3000 cr to set up 600 MW coal-fired thermal power plant that will be commissioned within the next 3 years under its subsidiary Birla Urja LTD (BUL) BSPL will additionally invest Rs 2000 cr to set up 125 MW of solar PV plants over next 3 year.
