As the holiday season fast approaches, US based toy giant ‘Toys R Us Inc.’ on October 15, 2012, announced international shipping for online orders on Toysrus.com as well as Babiesrus.com. The company has announced international shipping for countries in Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, South America and North America.
Toys R Us will be providing the new service in partnership with i–parcel, which is a leading International Air Express company, which facilitates global shipping capabilities. With the announcement of international shipping, the company is attempting to increase its international presence and is also doubling the number of countries which have the access to the retailer at present.
Milton Pappas, the Vice President, e-Commerce Customer Experience at Toys R Us said, “By introducing international shipping on Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com, online customers around the world can now shop the vast product assortment offered on our e-commerce sites”. So as to ensure the seamless customer experience, i-parcel will also be handling all the customer service inquiries which are related to shipments and deliveries.
The customers, while shopping on Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com, can select international shipping for eligible items. After the items are selected the customers will be directed to an i-parcel page, where the customer will be provided with details on taxes, shipping and duty information.
