South Korean electronics giant Samsung had promised that it would begin rolling out Jelly Bean updates for its flagship phone Galaxy S III last month. The users of the Galaxy S III can now update their handsets with the latest Android platform version.
The latest update can be downloaded over-the-air through Samsung Kies. Customers can even bring their handsets to their customer service outlets at Plaza Singapura or Jurong Point. However, users must make sure that they create a back up of their essential data such as contacts and other data, and perform a factory reset of their after the update as well. Samsung’s Galaxy S III is a rival to Apple’s recently launched iPhone 5, which has already become popular.
