Indian auto giant Tata Motors has ventured into the Bangladeshi auto market by launching two of its sedans and a hatchback. The company has launched two sedans; the Tata Indigo eCS and the Tata Indigo Manza, which is a luxury sedan. It has also launched the Tata Indica Vista hatchback.
The cars will all be available in Dhaka in one showroom, but Tata Motors also plans to cover at least three other cities by the year 2013. Earlier, the company had introduced its buses in the year 1972 and has around 53,000 commercial vehicles on Bangladeshi roads at the moment. Tata Motors said in a statement that the company is a market leader today with a 70 percent market share.
