Indian mobile phone manufacturer Micromax is increasing its segment of budget Android phones with the new A27 Ninja, which is now available online. The device is available on the online shopping site Saholic and has benn priced at Rs. 3,399; while Flipkart.com has also priced the device for Rs. 3,399.
The Micromax A27 Ninja is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone, which is powered by a 1 GHz Spreadtrum processor and 256 MB worth of RAM. The device has a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels and 160 MB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 16 GB with a micro-SD card.
The A27 also supports two SIM cards and offers Wi-Fi with Bluetooth connectivity. The only component which is found lacking in the Ninja is 3G support by Micromax. Moreover, users will have to make use of the EDGE connectivity as well.
The A27 also features Swipe and Share features which allows users to share apps, as well as multimedia content with a single swipe. With a 1400 mAh battery, Micromax has claimed that the new phone will give users talk time worth 4.5 hours. Micromax has also released the A89 Ninja which is another budget Android phone. With these new models, it looks like Mircomax is ready to take on the competition headfirst, in the challenging smartphone market.
