Pakistan won the Group A match against arch rival India by 54 runs today.
The match saw Pakistan winning the toss and deciding to bat first.
What followed was a series of great strokes by the Pakistani team and the consistency on the part of the players, led them to create the huge score of 302 runs.
India started off very slowly when it was their chance to bat, with Sachin Tendulkar being the first player to get out. Even though “The Wall” aka Rahul Dravid managed to put up a good fight, the run to victory fell short when all wickets fell and Pakistan eventually won the game by 54 runs.
