Mobile manufacturing giant HTC is all set to launch its popular One handset in Singapore. The phone will be finally launched after many delays, including a soft launch. The 32 GB handset version will start selling from April 13, 2013, at the price of Singapore $968 and the 64 GB version will retail for Singapore $1068.
The silver color version of the phone will be available at the start, while the black version will be available by the month of May 2013. The new HTC One went on sale in the UK last week. The launch of the handset was delayed due to component shortage issues, including camera and metal parts. HTC issued a statement, in which it assured that it would fulfil the pre-orders by the month of March 2013 in certain markets and will later roll out the devices in other markets.
The HTC One has a 4.7-inch screen with 1080p display, which is powered by a 1.7 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. It also has 2 GB of RAM under the hood. The connectivity options of the handset include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, infrared and Micro USB.
The smartphone runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform, along with a new Sense UI. The HTC One will be available with 32 GB and 64 GB storage options.
