Mobile phone manufacturer HTC is all set to launch its Dual-SIM handset Desire U. The device is already available through online store Flipkart.com for Rs. 13,499. The website states that the handset will be delivered in 7 to 8 working days.
The company announced the latest handset in January 2013. In terms of specifications, Desire U does not bring new things to the table. It is 9.32 mm thick and weighs 119 grams, with a 4-inch capacitive touch display and runs on Android 4.0, with the company’s Sense UI. The HTC Desire U has a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash.
The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM and also features 4 GB of internal storage, which can be easily expanded by up to 32 GB through microSD cards. The Desire U also comes with a 1,650 mAh battery. There is an interesting addition to the design of the latest phone that features a micro-drilled cover art on the back panel.
The HTC logo is engraved in the center and, just like other HTC devices, it also features Beats Audio integration. The connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G with aptX and GPS. Regarding color choices, customers will be able to choose between standard black and white.
