4G technology is still developing in India and it is currently in its initial stages. However, the super fast mobile Internet technology could soon become a household thing available to many people. Indian telecom giant Airtel has recently announced that it has slashed the prices of 4G by 30% and it is bringing it closer to 3G rates.

At the moment, Airtel India is the only operator to provide 4G services in four circles, including Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Chandigarh. The company has launched two ranges of plans, out of which one is for the entry-level users and the other is for extensive-data users. The revised tariff plans have revealed that the 4G customers will be able to get access to 2 GB, 3 GB and 4 GB of data for Rs. 450, Rs. 650 and Rs. 750, respectively.

These plans constitute entry-level range. The company has also offered the extensive data usage plans, in which subscribers will be able to get 10 GB, 12 GB, 15 GB, 25 GB, 45 GB and 80 GB at Rs. 999, Rs 1,299, Rs 1,449, Rs 2,049, Rs 2,999 and Rs 4,799, respectively.

Subscribers will also be enabled to get free access to movies and games library of Big Flix and Indiagames. In addition, Reliance Gio will also be launching its 4G services in India.
