Search engine giant Google has introduced its Start Searching India campaign. The new campaign will help internet users to get the most out of the web with its search tool.
Sandeep Menon, marketing director at Google India said, “Internet is no longer restricted to the domain of working professionals and is fast emerging as a life enriching tool catering to the varied needs of the people from all walks of life”. The aim of the campaign is to help Indian users to save time.
Menon went on to say that time can be saved by showing users how they can get instant and to-the-point results to most of their common queries. At the launch, the director of marketing also presented the top search trends that the people of Bhopal in the state of Madhya Pradesh search for most with the help of Google Trends.
Menon said that e-governance is doing well in the state of Madhya Pradesh, with mponline.com and vyapam.com being in the top five web searches. The mission of Google has always been to make search into an ideal assistant. Menon also added that the search engine is supposed to understand what exactly users mean and to give them back exactly what they need.
