US-based tech giant Apple has sent out invitations for its latest product event. The event is scheduled to be held in San Francisco on October 22, 2013 and the company will be unveiling its updated iPad line-up.
The upcoming event is set to begin at 10 am local time at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theatre in San Francisco. Apple announced the event in a note sent to members of the media and the venue is the same place where the company has presented many of its new products in the past.
In September 2013, the tech giant released its two iPhone models and is set to introduce a number of new products before the Christmas shopping season begins soon. The event next week will provide an update to the new iPad mini, which will have a high-definition screen and some changes in the design.
The bigger iPad will be thinner and the company is also expected to show its Mac software upgrade, known as Mavericks with the revamped Mac Pro high-end computer. Apple in the invitation wrote, “We still have a lot to cover”. During the second quarter of 2013, the new iPad’s absence resulted in a tablet market reduction.
