In an attempt to help victims of the Philippines typhoon, British businesswoman and fashion designer Victoria Beckham is donating a number of her designer shoes. The 39-year-old will be offering for sale some of her most expensive shoes, along with dozens of clothing items which belong to her and her husband David Beckham.
The donations by the celebrity family are most likely going to raise thousands of pounds for people who are affected by the massive storm. All items have been placed on sale as of Friday, November 22, 2013. A statement was issued by the British Red Cross on its website, which read, “Dozens of pieces from the couple’s wardrobe this Friday at the British RedCross shop in Kensington & Chelsea, which specialises in designer clothing. All the money raised will help those affected by the typhoon in the Philippines.”
Moreover, the famous designer also posted a couple of pictures on her Instagram account, which showed her packing donations, including pieces by Dolce and Gabbana, Jimmy Choo and Roberto Cavalli. One of the pictures shows Victoria sitting inside the donation box and has the caption, “Proud to support @BritishRedCross #ShopDrop Donating clothes for #Haiyansurvivor. x vb.”
Another picture shows a heap of designer footwear and a Manolo Blahnik box.
