US-based multinational information technology corporation Hewlett-Packard is doing its best to conquer the Indian market with the introduction of new and innovative products. The company has announced its latest line of innovative ‘voice tablets’ featuring 6-inch and 7-inch screens, which will be launched in the country in February 2014.
The devices – HP Slate 6 and HP Slate 7 – are built on Android operating system and will feature the Quad Core processor. The new tablets are designed specifically for people who tend to multitask, while offering access to entertainment at the same time. Both of these devices have a 3G, with Dual SIM Dual Standby feature and offer voice connectivity.
The tablets will also have both front and rear cameras and will allow people to work – as well as play – while on the go. Ron Coughlin, the Senior Vice-President of Consumer Personal Systems Group, HP said, “Consumers are looking to consolidate their phones and tablets, which is propelling the voice tablet market”. Coughlin went on to say that it is an exciting new category which represents a meaningful growth opportunity for the company.
The HP Slate VoiceTab will provide customers with a high-quality product at a great value. Media reports are claiming that big-screens devices by HP have been especially popular in Asia and the European markets.
