Following a very successful release of the budget-friendly Moto G smartphone in the Indian market, mobile phone manufacturing giant Motorola is all set to launch the Moto X smartphone in the country in the upcoming weeks. The company responded to a Tweet about the Indian launch of its flagship phone and wrote, “In next few weeks Moto X will launch in India and Australia.”

On the other hand, Moto Maker – which is an online tool that allows users to customize Moto X – might not be released at the same time. The company announced via Twitter that Moto Maker will be launched in the Western Europe and Mexico in the second quarter of 2014. For the time being, Moto Maker is only available in the US market.

The latest development is leaving doubts if the customization tool will be launched in the Indian market any time soon. Moto Maker enables users to choose the color of the front panel – which can be either white or black – while users will have 18 color options for the back cover, along with the hue of the keys on the side, as well as the camera rim.

The company says that there are more than 2,000 possible combinations of colors for the device. It is expected that the company will prefer selling the new Moto Moto X online, through the online site FlipKart at the time of launch.
