Indian-born chief executive of Microsoft, Satya Nadella joined the company in 1992 and since then, he was able to take the tech giant to new heights with the help of new strategies and new products which improved the portfolio of US-based company. One of his biggest decisions was to move to the cloud, as well as the development of one of the biggest cloud infrastructures in the world, which supports Xbox, Bing, Office and a number of other services.
Nadella said, “Microsoft is one of those rare companies to have truly revolutionized the world through technology, and I couldn’t be more honored to have been chosen to lead the company”. The CEO went on to say that the opportunity ahead for the company is vast, but in order to acquire that, they must move faster and must also continue to transform.
Nadella also said that a big part of his job is to accelerate their ability to bring innovative products to customers more quickly. Recent reports have said that Microsoft will be announcing the launch of its new tablet series in India in an attempt to maintain their dominance in the Indian market.
When Nadella became the CEO of the company, he said that he will buy more books than he can read and will sign up to more courses than he can complete.
