American handset manufacturer Motorola has made the purchase of its Moto G more attractive in India. Motorola and the online shopping giant Flipkart have started an exchange offer on many of the company’s phones.

The retailer – as part of the new offer – is giving a minimum discount of Rs. 2,000. In addition to that, it has been reported that the offer is applicable to smartphones of Apple, Nokia, BlackBerry, Sony, Samsung, Micromax, Karbonn, Motorola, Lava, HTC and Lenovo. The offer is valid on purchase of 8GB, as well as 16 GB variants of the company’s Moto G.

As part of the offer, the online giant has announced that it is offering a minimum of Rs. 2,000, while some of the models will be priced higher. However, the company did not state any price ceiling on the exchange of those handsets which might be priced higher. The Nokia C7 – which is a four-year-old smartphone – is exchanged for Rs. 2,000, while the flagship phone of Apple – the iPhone 5 – also fetches for Rs. 2,000 as part of this particular deal. Meanwhile, new smartphones like the iPhone 5S and the Samsung Galaxy S4 are not included in the latest offer.

Following the discount, the Moto G’s 16 GB and 8 GB versions will be offered at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 10,499, respectively.
