Smartphone manufacturer Xolo has unveiled its mid-range Android phablet known as the Q2500 PocketPad in India. With the new Xolo handset, the company is looking to offer a big screen experience with the help of its 6-inch display.
The new Xolo Q2500 has been priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be available across the nation through retailers and online stores. The best feature of the device is its 6-inch IPS HD 720p display and even though it runs on the older Android 4.2.2 version, users will get to experience some exclusive Xolo apps. The device is powered with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM.
The Xolo Q2500 is powered with a Mali 400 MP GPU for graphics, supports dual SIM and the connectivity options are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/A-GPS. The device has an 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for self images and video calling. A few camera features will also be included, like HDR, scene detection, face detection and panorama. The device is powered with a 3000 mAh battery which promises 40 hours of talk time, as well as 600 hours of standby time in 2G.
In March 2014, the company launched the A510S budget smartphone which was priced at Rs 7,499.
