Mobile manufacturer Intex has unveiled its latest budget smartphone Aqua i5HD in India. The company’s new mobile phone is priced at Rs. 9,990 in the country.
The device has a 13-megapixel camera which allows users to capture images by just saying ‘cheese’ or ‘capture’. The Aqua i5HD is a dual-SIM device which is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM and has connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The 4 GB onboard storage of the device can be expanded up to 32 GB through a micro SD slot. The new phone also features a 5-megapixel front camera.
The Business Head of the Mobile vertical at Intex, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona said, “At Intex development centre, we constantly conduct surveys to study customer preference and usage patterns.’’ Kalirona went on to say that they also unveiled the Aqua i5 HD at below 10k price tag for those mobile enthusiasts who like to have image quality and love witnessing the virtual world come alive at a 5-inch OGS display screen.
Kalirona also stated that the company aims to connect with consumers, as they understand their needs and constantly try to innovate to meet their aspirations at an affordable price.
