Asia Bizz: United States (US) Slips Two Places In World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Competitiveness Survey
The wobbling US Economy has now to see more shame on the world economy standards, and especially talking about the survey taken by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to see the countries  economic competitiveness. The US economy fell two place on the WEF list of economic competitiveness from 2nd to fourth, below Sweden and Singapore.
Switzerland tops the list and has remained there since last year. On the fifth place stands Germany, which is the most stable Eurozone economy. UK is not even in the top 10 and lies down on 12th, after gaining one spot compared to last year.
The WEF stated that the rankings are based on survey and public data which is available with them. This means the rankings are fair and unbiased. During the survey some 13500 people are questioned from 139 countries, around the world. WEF has also answered why US has lost its strong place, because there is weakening in the private and public institutions, and also the lingering financial markets.
