Seven Eleven Japan Co offers services like fresh coffee, printing machines and much more.

Some of the major convenience stores in Japan are are set to provide its customers with a wider range of services including maps and photo printing. The stores are also looking forward to installing multifunction copiers at their outlets.

The recent move is a part of efforts to attract more customers to convenience stores.

The multifunction copiers can also be used to buy lottery tickets and obtain the copies of resident registration certificates. The Seven Eleven Japan Co since April, 2014, has been providing a new service which allows the customers to print the A3-sized maps of 43 sightseeing spots in the nation.

The service is mainly targeted at the tourist population flocking to Japan. The multifunction copiers of Fuji Xerox Co are used at the 7 Eleven stores and offer a selection of about 50,000 types of data and images like portraits of pop stars.

More and more number of customers have been using the machines to print photos which are taken with smartphones. The service costs up to 30 Yen per photo.

An employee from Fuji Xerox said that people enjoy the convenience of being able to use the printers at any time.
