Priced at Rs. 18,500, the LG L Bello is a good cheaper alternative to the LG G3.
South Korean electronics giant LG launched the LG L Bello in India yesterday, October 14, 2014. The phone, that is being marketed as an affordable alternative to the G3, is priced at Rs. 18,500. Amidst the fierce competition in the Indian markets, the phone seeks to find a secure place for itself. The phone inherits most of the G3’s design.
The newest phone in LG’s L series, Bello has the following features:
- Display: 5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen
- Core: Quad core
- Processor: 1.3GHz
- Operating software: Android v4.4 KitKat
- RAM: 1 GB
- Internal memory: 8 GB, expandable to 32 GB with a microSD card
- Camera: Primary – 8 megapixel with flash; Secondary – 1 megapixel
- Battery: 2540 mAh Li-ion battery
These specifications put the L Bello in the range of a mid-tier smartphone, but with fancy exteriors, it gives the impression of high-end smartphone. While it is an affordable alternative to the G3, it is also quite powerful. The back of the phone is made of plastic, but is designed to give a metal feel.
The phone comes in 3 color variants – Dark gray, white and dull gold. While it is officially priced at Rs. 18,500, several online stores like Snapdeal and Flipkart are selling the smartphone for Rs. 15,450 and 15,598 respectively.
