The new BMW 6 Series concept shows that the new car comes with an exterior that is similar to the 5 Series and 7 Series. It has features which include a very drawn sheet metal appearance, with some very precise and creative changes made to the placement of the kidney grille, the shoulder line and the window frame.
This new 6 Series coupe will also come with the 2+2 seating layout and there will be L-shaped lamps at the rear which will use LED graphics. However, BMW has chosen not to divulge into any details regarding the mechanical layout, but what we do know is that BMW’s 6 Series Coupe will come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Autocar reports, “BMW will not reveal the engine range just yet. But in keeping with the downsizing trend evident in other recent BMW models, expect it to receive a combination of turbocharged in-line six-cylinder and V8 petrol units in successors to today’s 630i and 650i, along with a turbocharged six-cylinder diesel as a follow-up to the excellent 635d.”
