Swiss tech company Logitech launches Type+ keyboard and protective case for the new iPad Air 2.
The Swiss technology company, Logitech has launched 3 different keyboard cum protective case for the new iPad Air 2. The company announced the three add-ons on October 28, 2014. The three cases are – Keys-To-Go, Type+ and Ultrathin. The first model will work with all versions of the iPad and is water and dust repellent. It is made of a fabric that Logitech is calling ‘FabricSkin’.
The Keys-To-Go keyboard will be available in markets by November 2014 and will have a retail price of $69.99. The Type+ case is specially designed for the iPad Air 2. It has a Bluetooth keyboard that contains iOS shortcut keys along with the regular qwerty keys.
The Type+ also has an on-off facility that senses the position of the iPad to determine whether it switches on or off. If the iPad is upright, the keyboard automatically switches on and if it is closed, the keyboard switches off. Along with the keyboard, there is a protective case that would absorb the impact if it the iPad were to fall.
It will begin shipping in November and will cut a hole of $99.99 in your pocket. The Logitech Ultrathin is a magnetic clip-on keyboard cover than can sick onto the surface of the iPad. The Ultrathin is made of high-grade aluminum, in order to match the color of the iPad. It will retail for $89.99 and will be available in November.
