Chinese computer giant Asus, has slashed the prices of its revolutionary Zenfone 5 16 GB and is now available for Rs. 9,999 in the Indian market. The ZenFone 16 GB version now costs just Rs. 500 more than the 8 GB version and had earlier costed Rs. 12,499.
The device is now available with the new rate at Flipkart.com but just for the black model while the other color options are available at the earlier price. The new ZenFone 5 has a 5 inch IPS panel which has a high definition 1280 X 720 pixel resolution and a stunning design with a thickness of just 5.5 mm. The device has earned popularity in recent times and has reached to more than 300 cities through Flipkart.
The phones have become successful in recent times and the new price has been introduced in order to take a step further. The smartphone manufacturing giant is aiming to have a 5% market share in the country by 2016.
Other features of the device include Intel Atom Z2560 Processor running at 1.6 Ghz, 8 mega pixel Master main camera with image stabilization and a 2 mega pixel front camera. The ZenFone 5 is available in four colors, charcoal black, pearl white, champagne gold and cherry red.
