Tech giant Lenovo has unveiled the country’s most affordable 4G and LTE smartphone for the Indian market and has been priced at Rs. 6,999. The company has launched the smartphone with an introductory price so as to catch the ever increasing demand for low-cost smartphones.
The new Lenovo A6000 was unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas recently and the device has been. The new device has been launched to compete against the popular smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G which is priced at Rs. 9,999. The other handset which is also placed at the same segment includes Rs. 8,999.
The features of the new LTE device by Lenovo includes 1.2 Ghz quad core processor, 5 inch display, Android Kit Kat operating system , 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, 8 mega pixel rear camera and 2 mega pixel front camera for selfies.
In terms of 4G service, telecom giants, Bharti Airtel and Aircel have launched 4G services in some of the cities in India. The customers will be able to have their hands on the new Lenovo device from January 28, 2015. Lenovo has not yet revealed the exact amount of devices which have been put on sale.
