Asia Bizz: Micromax Q3 Indian Mobile Review

Micromax Q3 is an Indian mobile that has an outlook similar to the BlackBerry. There has been a strong review over this cell phone and as people had expected that this cell phone being of an Indian origin would be unable to perform in the market, has been completely shunned by the company. The Q3 came into the market in the year 2009, as it was a push by Micromax to make a mark in the Indian market with a bang.

But as the Indian customers were loyal to the Japanese and Korean cell phones, one could imagine where the Q3 could stand. Micromax Q3 did come into the market but did not have a customer pulling that was expected, and some people had the feeling and confidence that this cell phone was Chinese, now this was very strange.

Micromax later spoke about the company on its website, and stated that it is a completely Indian company, with a view to bring Indian made cell phones in the market. Now, so what’s so attractive and special about the Q3? The Q3 is unique phone with feature that even put the high end handsets to shame. The Q3 is a dual SIM cell phone and to make a point here, that there are no problems with this hand set as both the SIM’s are active during any operation.

The cell phone has 1.3 mega pixel camera, the body has some sort of hard plastic and has a chrome strip on the sides which make the cell phone more attractive. Blue tooth, GPRS, Opera, MSN Messenger, WAP,MMS, E-Mail, MP3, Video Recording and 2 GB supporting memory are some of the important feature of the Q3, and it is priced below Rs.3500/-. The Micromax Q3 was the first attempt by Micromax to bring a full QWERTY keypad cell phone in the mobile market, and after its success, now there some half a dozen of the QWERTY models by Micromax and some even feature with Wi-Fi in it. This is also an indication that the Indian cell phone companies are make a strong stand in the Indian mobile market, without sacrificing features on price, this the perfect blend that we can see in Micromax.
