The country of Nepal is facing a swine-flu like epidemic which has already killed 24 people so far. About four medical teams having 12 doctors have been sent to various village development committees in Jajarkot to deal with the disease.
Three medical teams will be flown from Kathmandu on April 20, 2015 and another team was taken to the villages from Jajarkot. district headquarters. A health camp has been set up by the Army Team in Archani VDC and a team of Nepal Police will remain at Paink.

Despite the presence of medical people, the outbreak continues to spread and many villages are still under the grip with a high number of influenza cases.
The Nepalgunj based Regional Medical store is being inquired by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority about the availability of medicines and the outbreak at the site. Another team of CIAA has reached the mid western Regional Health Directorates look in to the deployment of doctors and medical facilities in the affected villages.
