Flash storage manufacturing company SanDisk launched its 200 GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick that will provide faster transfer speed to allow the users to store thousands of pictures and videos to be shared with ease. The new device from SanDish will be initially available at Amazon.in for Rs. 9,990 and will be later extended to more channels in a phased manner.
The country manager of SanDisk, Rajesh Gupta in a statement said, “With the explosion of content, people need more advanced storage solutions to keep up with the volume and quality of the photos, videos and files they are creating on their mobile devices”. Gupta added that their goal is to deliver innovative as well as intuitive offerings that will help them capture life’s greatest moments without worrying about any storage limitations.
Some of the features of the new 200 GB Connect Wireless Stick includes an app known as the SanDisk Connect App that enables effortless management of content between the devices including iPhone , iPad, iPod, Fire Tablets, Android devices, PCs, and Macs offered through password-protected Wi-Fi connectivity.
The app has been updated so that it supports sharing of content on some of the large displays through AirPlay with Apple TV, Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV.
