Telecom giant Airtel has introduced a new Rs. 999 plan for the pre-paid users. The new plan has been introduced targeting the subscribers who have a heavy data usage. Airtel’s Rs. 999 plan has a validity of 28 days and provides a total of 112 GB of 3G/4G speed at the price of Rs. 999. The offer is for now only available for the pre-paid customers.

The subscribers can purchase the new app through My Airtel app or the Airtel.in website under the recharges segment. Airtel in recent times also launched the Bonus 30 GB offer which provides the postpaid customers with a complimentary data of 30 GB. The new plans by the telecom company are aimed for the users who have high data consumption. The Rs. 999 plan also comes with unlimited calls and STD calls.

However, the terms and conditions of the company has mentioned that the per day calls have been bundled at 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes a week for local as well as STD calls. Moreover, the subscribers who purchase the Rs. 999 plan by the telecom giant through Airtel Payments Bank will get 50% cashback as a part of the ongoing offer. The new plans have been launched against the competitor Reliance Jio who also has a similar plan for the pre-paid users. The Rs. 999 pack offered by Jio comes with 90 GB data. The data provided by Jio is less but does not have any cap on the daily consumption. Even BSNL has launched a plan at Rs. 444 with 4 GB data per day limit and has a validity of 90 days. But the state-owned network does not provide 4G network yet unlike Airtel, Jio and Idea
