Asia Bizz: Fiat 500 Mini Car All Set To Re-Enter The US Car Market
The legendary Fiat 500 mini car is all set to re-enter the US car market once again, this has come just after the company took over the US car maker Chrysler, last year. After the take over, this Italian car maker is all set to taste good success on the American roads and also earn some good figures in their sales.
It was back in 1983, when the Italian car maker took an exit from the US market, as it was reported that there were consistent rusting and quality problems, and they could not deliver on time when demanded. The new Fiat 500 is priced at $15,000, and it is still $5000 less than its competitor, the BMW Mini.
The Fiat 500 has a 1.4L, four cylinder engine, and is set to debut during the Los Angeles Auto Show. It will be available in the US markets in the year 2011, and company says that they can even launch a hybrid version of the 500. Fiat is looking to sell at least 50000 units every year in the US alone, a target that looks really big according to the automotive manufactures.
