Micromax, India’s third largest mobile phone company, is all set to unveil it’s first ever Android phone called – Andro A60and comes equipped with the latest Google Android 2.1 Eclair update, as per the Micromax Delhi Bloggers Meet.
The Micromax Andro A60 smartphone is a touch-screen phone that comes with a 2.8-inch screen and a 600MHz CPU. It has dual-band GSM support, and is believed to come with up to 7.2Mbps speeds via HSUPA, in addition to Wi-fi. Some other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera, and 150 MB internal memory. It is expected to be available in India in December 2010. The price tag is likely to be below Rs. 8000, but the official price is yet to be revealed .
Making it’s entry into the Android smartphone market, this smartphone makes a reasonably priced offer to consumers interested in a Micromax smartphone with the Android OS.
