ViewSonic has unleashed two full screen tablet PCs, ViewPad 7 and ViewPad 10 on Wednesday, which features a computer, gaming functionality and mobile phone functionality. The product also features Google’s Android operating system, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.
Reports say that the ViewSonic models have a speedy operation and a 0.3 megapixel VGA front facing camera, as well as a 3 megapixel camera on the rear. The users can surf on the internet, play games, take and share photographs and also listen to music.
ViewSonic Technologies India Sales Head Kuldeep Ramaiya said, “The ViewPad 7 and ViewPad 10 are designed to meet the rapid growth of mobile internet access and communications demands around the world.”
The ViewPad 7 will be available at a price of Rs 32,000, while the ViewPad 10 is priced at Rs 38,000 and will be available at the leading stores next year by the mid of January 2011.
The overall look of the tablet seems well finished, but critics say it is too heavy, and has a short battery life.
