Asia Bizz : The Maruti Suzuki SX4 diesel sedan has finally been launched in India, and the car will be priced between Rs 7.74-8.62 lakh Delhi. The SX4 petrol version is doing quite well in India and the company had promised its customers it will launch the the diesel variant very soon.
According to Maruti, the diesel SX4 has a more refined diesel engine which shall also give decent fuel economy compared to other diesel cars in the country. Suzuki is quite happy to launch this vehicle in India, as the sales of diesel cars in India is quite strong. The SX4 is said to provide strict competition in the Indian market and the sales expectation are quite high, since Maruti has been a longtime favorite in the Asian country.
Maruti Suzuki also expects the SX4 to have a successful launch in India, and bring in some decent sales figures as the other cars in Maruti’s line-up have done. This is the second diesel sedan to be launched by Maruti after the Swift DZire in India.
