Asia Bizz: The BMW Mini Countryman SAV (sports activity vehicle) has been launched in South Korea and is the first SAV which has been introduced by the German car maker. It is a unique vehicle, which comes with a four door and four wheel drive feature – in fact it is a mini SUV.
All the Mini versions launched in Korea are expected to have 1.6 ltr engine, with the Cooper pushing out only 122 bhp. The dynamic Cooper S and Cooper S All4 will boost around 184 horses from its small engine making it  quite remarkable in terms of technology. 24 kilograms of torque is what this little engine pumps out making it stand out as a powerful machine.
Mini Countryman in not a typical heavyweight as other SUV’s in the market, thus it can sprint from 0-100 in just 8 seconds, pushing a top whack of 210 km/h. Even though the car is a Mini vehicle, it has phenomenal boot space of 820 ltrs. All the vehicles are available in South Korea at a reasonable price, especially compared to other high end SUV’s in the country.
