Asia Bizz: The past week saw a lot of destruction in Japan and the devastating natural disasters have forced Apple Inc. to delay the launch of its much awaited Apple iPad 2 in the Asian country.

A spokeswoman for Apple, Natalie Kerris officially announced that the iPad 2 will be launching later in Japan and they have forced the delay of the launch. She also said that the country is focusing on recovering from the recent natural disaster. She made a special regard for their employees and their families in Japan.

In the US, the Apple iPad was launched last Friday and the official launch date for it’s Japanese launch was stated on March 25th. This device will also be launched in 25 other countries like the UK, Germany, Canada, among others.

If reports are to be believed, then it seems that the iPad 2 has a shortage of availability in the U.S. itself.
