Asia Bizz: The supply for Apple’s iPad 2 will show some improvement according to the company and around 2 to 3 weeks of time is the shipping period for iPad 2 orders that are made online. Since the launch of the iPad 2, online orders have increased and the company has found problems in the amount of orders shipped.
The tablet faced a lot of shortage after the official launch of the iPad 2, which took place on 25th March 2011 in 22 countries worldwide. The Apple iPad 2 has sold more than around 12,000 tablets, which accounts to around 50 per cent of the sales worldwide.
All the versions of the tablet including the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB iPad have a shipping time of around two to three weeks. Most of the time, the shipping for all Apple products is delivered before the estimated time that the company commits on.
Apple usually states the maximum shipping time for its products, so that several eager users should start receiving their new iPads within 2-3 weeks time, and not the usual 1 week.
